Taking this week off
I will be taking this week off from running. It seems the stomach flu claimed victim number 2 (Chris), so there will be no running today as planned. I will hopefully try to go out at least once or twice anyway to run, but I am not planning on officially doing week 2 until next week when all viruses are out of this house! I don't want to be tired and possibly sore while having to take care of sick people or being sick myself. Not my idea of fun (not that it is fun anyway). I will of course post if/when I get to run this week, as well as reading all other entries!

Ooooooooooooo....hope everyone feels better soon....Take some time off and make sure you don't push yourself when you do come back (depending on how long you are breaking), because your body may need to go back to week one.
Hope you all feel better! Rona's right. Don't push yourself too hard when you come back. I do recommend getting out a little bit, even for a walk down the driveway for the fresh air. And drink lots of water! It'll help!
I thought I had it last night, everytime I moved, I thought I was going to be sick. I went to bed after I got the kids settled and was fine when I woke up (I didn't sleep until regular time, but just resting and not moving). I walk up the driveway twice a day anyway with/for Ceilidh. I might try to do a run this evening when it gets cooler. I'm feeling pretty good, but with the heat, I don't know if that will set me off. I bought powdered gatorade, so I'll mix that in my water bottle to keep my hydrated. I don't mix it at full strength, so I'm not worried about drinking too much of it. I probably mix it weak enough that it wouldn't help much anyway. LOL. I just like a light flavoring to my water occassionaly. K do you have sneakers that I can use? If not I'll have to look into a pair.
Yup I got a pair. Pretty sure we have the same size feet. Hopefully you're not getting sick! But it could've been the heat. The fresh always helps me when I'm feeling a little under the weather...no running, just outside in the fresh air!
